讲座内容:Hamaca is an ideal candidate for steamflooding due to its world class resource base, moderate to shallow burial depth, good reservoir quality, extra heavy oil, and low estimated primary recovery. However, there is limited experience of steamflooding in this highly heterogeneous fluvial channel reservoir. Steamflood success is strongly dependent on a good understanding of the distribution of shale baffles, to better place wells to manage the vertical migration of steam and establishment of steam chambers. For reservoir characterization and modeling, regional net sand maps and analogue data were used to define a channel depositional fairway, sand bar geometries, and orientation. Based on analogue study, three themes of reservoir connectivity were defined to capture shale distribution uncertainties. Shale baffles and non-reservoir facies are simulated using a multipoint statistics (MPS) algorithm and calibrated with the core and facies logs. Around 170 confirmation wells in study area were used to define petrophysical uncertainty ranges.

Due to limited field thermal production history, a unique decline curve based reserve booking strategy is applied for reserve validation. This method is validated with sector simulation model to discount production interference.

唐洪,美国雪弗隆公司美国墨西哥湾深水项目资深油藏建模专家。于2005年获美国 Louisiana State University 石油工程博士学位,2002年获石油大学北京石油地质硕士学位,1995年获西南石油学院测井学士学位。2005至今在美国雪弗隆公司先后担任多项能源技术职务:能源技术研究中心油藏建模咨询师,南部非洲项目集团建模和油藏模拟工程师,拉美项目集团油藏地质总监,印尼亚太项目集团地质建模专家和总裁助理。曾在中国海洋石油渤海研究院油藏测井工程师。主要参与的大型油藏建模和数值模拟项目有:美国国家能源部研究基金三维岩石露头数模和模拟研究;世界级稠油大型油田Hamaca和Duri field油藏建模;美国墨西哥湾Tahiti项目,安哥拉和印尼深水项目;哈萨克斯坦,科威特大型碳酸盐油田建模项目。
